I just had my baby 6 weeks ago. I was induced with pit and had to get the epi.. Things did'nt go that well for me. I ended up with a c-section, I was induced with my first with pit and had him natural so every pregnancy is didn't. I was expecting to have her natural but sometimes things dont go the way you want them to go. Good Luck.

I'm going in tomorrow to be induced, I don't really know the procedure.I'm a little scared because everyone keeps telling me that inducing hurts like hell.

I am also scared...I haven't had my baby and tomorrow they are talking induction. I am worried that it will come to that. Pitocin is brutal so I'm sure I'll have to get an epi if I have that. Best wishes to you all that we can have our babies naturally!

I was induced with pitocin with my 1st child. It was excruciatingly painful, but my son was born within 1 1/2 hours of reciving the pitocin. I begged for the epidural, but the anesthesiologist did not make it in time.

I was induced with Pitocin on Monday and had my baby Tuesday at 12:54am on April 24th!!!! It honestly was not as bad as I had heard (my personal experience) The contractions were back to back and they were painful but no more painful then the contractions I felt with my other 2 births and I went into labor on my own with them and I seemed to dialate alot faster, they started the Pitocin around 7 and by 11:30pm I was fully dialated but decided to labor down and let the baby come down on his own. I held off on the Epidural until I was 6-7cm. Everyone is different and I have heard both good and bad things about but my experience was great!!!!

I was induced with my third baby at 37wks due to Pregnancy Cholostasis. The actual labour was surprisingly easy but trying to get me to go into labour took two days (because I was early). I found it to be no different from my other labours except for the pitocin drip and the fact the m/w forgot to turn it down so I was getting contractions one on top of the other! I was a little nervous too but it was actually a pretty good experience and even though I had stated I never wanted to be induced it was necessary.

I just wanted to update everyone - I didn't end up with the induction as our little boy made his appearance on Wednesday evening all on his own! It was still different than the other two - they didn't break my water until I was 9 cm dilated! That was crazy. But I guess I'll never know about the Pitocin since that was our last baby. :) Thanks for all the answers though!!
