I get terrible tension headaches that sometimes make me throw up. I amworried that this will happen during labor. The headaches are really awful. I'm afraid it will happen and ruin my experience. Anyone experience this or know what they could give me for a headache during labor?

Does it help whe you get a neck rub or something? Most tension headaches are from the muscle surrounding your head tighting up. Thats why you see people always rubbign their temples and such. Try getting one of those small hand ma__sages do hickys you can pick up at bath and body stores and see if getting a nice ma__sage from your sweetie will help, concentrate at top of your neck where it mets with your head, don't forget temples down to the shoulders. the nice slow gently firm pressure of a lovers touch . If nothing else it could lead to some great four play into s_x and it is a proven fact that s_x can get rid of headaches.

Thanks for the ideas. My husband is not a great neck ma__sager, poor guy, he just doesn't have the gentle touch. I also had another idea. Maybe a heating pad. Is there any reason that would be a bad idea?

I don't see why not. The idea is to help those muscles relax. So adding a little heat might help also.
