I am 37 weeks with 4th child and would like to try acupunture as a alternative to hospital induction - what was your success rate.

I tried acupuncture about a week and a half ago and it did absolutely nothing for me. I spent $60 for about forty-five minutes and it did nothing. The funniest part of it all was the fact that the acupuncturist said it would be best for me to come every day until it worked. Ha! Yeah right. Money does not fall out of my behind. Maybe it works for some but it didn't for me and I am not willing to spend that kind of money on acupuncture of all things.

I think acupuncture is the same as any other method of trying to induce yourself naturally (s_x, walking, castor oil...any of that stuff).. I think it will only work if your body is ready for it.
