How can you be 1 cm dialated and not in labor??

same thing happened to me,stayed almost 2 for a month and a half.i don't know why it happens tho sorry couldn't answer it for ya

I'm 3 cm dilated and not in labor. It can get as high as 5. Technically, you are in early labor - some people just do it slowly over days rather than all at once.

I was 1 cm. for a month and finally they induced me 4 days past my due date. I wish I had waited but I had high blood pressure so my doctor highly suggested induction.
