Hello everyone, I have a really inportant question to ask. I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor's to and she checked me and I was 4 cm dilated. But my water hasn't broke yet.. And they said they will not induce me.. I'm really worried, I've been having contractions. But they haven't been regular. I also haven't lost my mucus plog either. I don't know what i should do.. I do have cramps everyday. And i still get contractions, but like i said they are not regular. I want this baby to come out, so i can see his beautiful face.. And i'm tired of being in pain... And advice ? thank you.

With my last pregnancy I was 4cm at 38 weeks. I was very crampy and such for almost a week and then went into labor. My contractions were never regular, but they did get very strong. Also, your water may not break. They broke mine when I got to the hospital and I'd already made it to 8cm. If you get painful contractions that get more painful, I'd call or go to L&D. Like I said, mine never became regular, yet I'd dilated to 8. Hang in there, you are sooo close!!!
