I Want This Baby Out HELP

I am 39+2 wks pregnant with my second, my first I gave birth at 28 wks. I am begining to think that I will never give birth, I have a small frame and a BIG baby in me, I am scared to let this little guy get any bigger. I have tried just about everything to get this going, walking, s_x, evening primrose oil, red raspberry leaf tea, pineapple, spicy food, and castor oil twice. I am still only 2 cm dialiated and lost my plug after the doc swept my membranes last week. Having strong bh contractions all day, everyday!! Is there end in sight, or am I going to birth a toddler here?? Please help what else can I do to bring on true labor, I am desperate!!!

Hi ashley, I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, I'm actually in the same boat as you right now... I'm 39+4 today on my 4th pregnancy & I do know what you mean I've tried everything also... I hope & pray for you. Please let me know if you find something that works ;)

I know how you feel. I'm going on 1 week past my due date! I tried everything but caster oil (only because I'm scared). my body is breaking down and I feel like my baby is going to make my belly explode! my midwife says he's between 7 and 8lbs! why would they let him get any bigger? I need some ideas on how to bring on labor too, but also on how to cope with this!

Dew have you had your membranes swept? I'm asking my Dr. to give me a sweep tomorrow... I can't take it anymore & my other 2 babies came just a few hours after I was swept with them. Ashley, have you had the baby yet?

For tho women who deperately wants their babies out must be PATIENT. It takes time. No need to rush. I was like that for a while and she came out when she was ready. so i suggest you guys be patient.

baby will come when its ready. your edd is just an ESTIMATE so it could be off by two weeks either way in your case maybe your real due date is 2weeks after what they gave you

well it's Ashley again. On my apt on Tues. the doc offered to induce me on Thursday, today!! Said my baby was getting big, he is ready, 2cm and a bulging bag. But now I'm sitting here waiting, there are no bed available at the hosp. "go figure" just sitting here waiting for the phone call on when we can leave.

and i'm back, i guess every woman in my town decided to go into labor today so i had to have my induction rescheduled for monday, not too happy about that considering we had family drive in from out of state last night. Hopefully for their sake he comes on his own before then, seriously doubt it though.

Aw congrats:) I hope everything goes well. That sucks they changed your induction date. Smack them doctors. I'm curious..how old are you?

24, my hormones were out of control earlier this afternoon, my husbands parents drove in from out of state and it was just so frustrating having my induction cancelled, plus just getting my hopes up that I was going to meet my little guy, but now having to wait 3 more days, i know it's not long but when you have been preggo for so long it seems like an eternity. I hate having no control over my own body, i'm so uncomfortable, leg cramps, and my baby has found a spot that he loves to kick all the time, right under my ribs, he kicks there so often that the spot is tender when i touch it. i have been having constant bh contractions everyday now, so many i don't even bother to keep track, it's pretty much constant. I know once I finally give birth I will love my baby so much that all this misery I feel now will be forgotten, but for now I'm 10 months pregnant and I'm gonna gripe and moan as much as I can. Any woman that says she loved being pregnant is a very lucky lady. Also i'd like to actually hold my hubby when were having s_x instead of the animalistic "doggie style" that has been our only position for the past few months. I guess thats all I can complain about for now, thanks for letting me vent.

Aw that's a bummer! (N). I bet you the husband's rents wasn't happy either. That's c___ppy how you gotta wait 3 days. Go through the leg cramps. bh contraction etc..i wouldn't wait another day..i couldn't. While you're waiting til the big day comes, enjoy your last minutes being pregnant and get lots of REST! cause you won't be-able to get much once the baby comes. sOo enjoy, take pictures of your prego belly at 10 months and whats not..Oh yah, make sure you have the nursery room all done by than. Get yourself a manicure/pedicure/ma__sage. Anything!. Have fun Ashley:)

Hey ashley, just keep hangin' in there & remind yourself almost there... I wish you all the best for your delivery... did they tell you if you've dilated any further along? I just found out that I'm finally at 2cm it's so frustrating isn't it??? But I'm trying to find comfort that my Dr told me that she's going to schedule my induction for the 13th.... I keep telling myself, ok I can do this only 1 more week roughly, I can do this, then those darn pains hit eh? [haha] That lady C is right though, just try to find something to busy yourself with, just to try to keep your mind busy.... keep smiling Ashley:)

Well having really strong contractions today so i went back to the doc and.............. still only 2 cm. aaaggghhh...
I know I really sound like a baby here but when you have the inlaws asking "ANYTHING YET"??? about every ten minutes it's enough to drive you crazy. The doc said today she doesn't think I'll make it till monday, my induction date, but we'll see, got my membranes swept again. Keeping my fingers crossed, Thank all of you for your support, hope everything goes well with your labors as well.
