Induction 2 Weeks After Due Date

My doctor, and the hospital that I will be delivering at, will not induce labor until two weeks past the due date. I am scheduled for the induction next week, but wondered if anybody else has heard of a policy that is this far past the due date (it seems like everybody else I have talked to have had inductions a few days to a week past the due date)

i am a week overdue and am gettin induced in 3 days. the hospital told me that it is policy for them to wait for 12 days after ur due date, i thought it less too. its very enoying
