I am being induced tomorrow night and I am so unbelievably nervous. They are using Cytotec, which I have read some controversial things about and some great things (I guess that's how everything is), and maybe Pitocin if the Cytotec doesn't get things going. All of a sudden it's very real and I'm freaking out about EVERYTHING. If anyone has a very encouraging induction story, especially if it involved Cytotec, I would be enthralled to read it. My induction is not elective, it is due to preeclampsia, so, I really need to find some peace and calm about this experience. It just seems so mean to FORCE my body to do something it clearly isn't ready to.

I was soo sooo scared the day before I was induced, I just walked around the house crying. I made sure I was kept busy the day of the induction and its best not to be alone, you need to take your mind off it. But you know what, its just fear of the unkown, but you can do it!! You will soon have your baby with you and its so wonderful. My induction wasn't elective either but don't think your body isn't ready, it has spent 9 months getting ready. Just try to relax (impossibl I know) and trust in your midwife/OB. And very best of luck to you!!!
