I have been feeling a lot of pressure and pain in my va___a and above my pubic bone the past two days. Is the baby's head engaging or is this possible a sign of the onset of labor? I am 38 weeks.

I felt that too a couple of weeks ago (I am 40 weeks) and it meant niether. My baby is still sitting high and I never went into labor. It is probably just your joints loosening up and getting ready for the big event. Mine was so bad that I couldn't even walk, I felt like an old granny. It could also just be the baby hitting your pelvic floor, I have had that too where I get these shocks of pain down there.
