Hi, after reading several comments on this forum, I just wanted to sat that no matter how you end up having your baby, all that really matters is your health and the health of the baby. I understand that a lot of the 1st timers are nervous and feel that natural birth is the way to go "no matter what" but don't put all your eggs in one basket yet, because when those contractions start coming, you just might change your mind-which isn't a bad thing, Nor is being able to go without the epidural. I am just saying that whether you need all the medicine in the world to get through it, or if you feel like superwoman, everyone's labor is different-and things can change in a second. ANd the best part of all is seeing your baby for the first time- its amazing!! Good luck to you all.
