I am 36 weeks preg and found out I am 2 cm dialated and 70% effaced, does that sound like Ill go now??? What do u guys think? Doc says 2 weeks but I think sooner?

No one knows. I have a girlfriend that 100% effaced and 4 cm dialated for month! Doc was surprised when she hadn't delivered week after week. Others can not be effeced at all, and dialated 1 cm or less and go into labour and deliver the next day. Don't worry about it. There's nothing you can do anyway - just stay healthy and do your Kegels!

will the chances that the baby be ok at 36 weeks, that is is there a good chance for no incubator or anything?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant with my second child and I'm 80% effaced and 4 centimeters dialated. And trust me I feel like I'm ready to go, but my experiences is if you are not contracting on a regular time frame and their not getting stronger and closer than more than likely the child is just being tempermental and teasing you. Best of luck!!1

>will the chances that the baby be ok at 36 weeks, that is is there a good chance for no incubator or anything?< Hey ashley..it really would depend on how developed the babys lungs are. 37 weeks is considered to term so if you were to give birth at 36 weeks they might just keep an eye on baby for a week or so..many babies have been delivered before 36 weeks and have been healthy and not needed much medical care. Anyway HTH(Hope This Helped).. Sam
