How hard is it to tell you are in labor after you have had 2 prev preg and births? Are contractions that painful? And how soon could the child be ther when they start?

Well - you'll at least know what to expect and will recognise the symptoms!! I can't comment on the painful part - I've never needed pain relief - just had no.4 a few weeks back...No3 was my longest labour - 5 hours start to finish..But no.4 was by far the quickest...There's no sure way to tell - everyone is different...but if your contractions aren't far apart don't hang about..your body now knows exactly what to do!!

I am honestly not sure what a contraction feels like. I don't remember pain with the other two untill after I had my water broken.... Can they just be uncomfortable?

Haha - you sound like me..for me they are just that - uncomfortable tightenings across my tummy..But when they become very regular - and I have to breath through them I know its time...they only ever hurt when I'm pushing the head out! When are you due with no.3?
