well a little while ago i got back from a nice walk with my son and went pee. there was quite a bit of blood tinged mucous (gross i know) but i know it was my bloody show, mucous plug whatever you want to call it lol. there was actually alot.....so im excited. im not sure exactly what it means. i guess it could still be a couple days. but ive read about girls that have gone into labor within hours of losing theirs. so we'll see. wish me luck! i want to get this over with :) ive been cleaning and organizing the house since this happened lol. im so anxious

hey, sorry for taking so long to post. Life's busy, unfortunately not due to any newborns...grrrr. Thank you for all the well-wishing. And when I read you're going out for a long walk and all the crampiness, AND the plug I was sure you're not too far off. I guess our bodies find it hilarious to give us just enough symptoms so we keep believing it's "any day now". How you coping skylersmom? carol-when's the date? I'm sorry, I can't remember off hand if you posted on the other post! omgoodness girl, you've got a light at the end of the tunnel!
Sigh---so here's the symptom update--went for a walk today, came back had to lay down and wringe in pain as I had cramps/no tightening---now the pain is gone but steady contractions AGAIN...arggghh, it means nothing!!! I refuse to start timing them till I'm convinced they're worst than they've ever been before...these are still borderline.
Would love to hear a symptom update from you guys too!!

oh yeah, should mention---she's decided to engage---last night I was laying there and thinking to myself "Whoa, somethings different---something is easier---BREATHING!" I can actually take a full deep breath again!! Woo hoo---potty trips are every 1--but breathing is sooo nice!

i thought for sure you had your baby! well im convinced that my little guy just plain does not want to come out. i thought for sure it would happen over the weekend. i get like one painful contraction a day lol. woo hoo. if it doesnt happen by thursday my dr is stripping my membranes. im nervous to get that done but anything to help move this along a little bit. i definitely have difficulty breathing, so i dont even think hes dropped yet. its hard for me to tell though. but i heard the baby can drop any time, even during labor. plus i heard when labor is near, you get loose stools (sorry tmi) due to the baby putting pressure on your rectum or whatever. and that isnt the case for me at all. ugh. thats about it for me for now! ill certainly keep you posted.

that's great skylersmom that the doc will strip your membranes--it just gives you something definite to look forward to. Not this endless sea of--now? nope now? nope. I too have heard that the babe can drop at anytime-especially during the second pregnancy--during the first they tend to drop a little earlier. Someone told me once you resign to the fact that you can do nothing to bring on the labour, that's when the babe comes. (;
