When your water gushes or trinkles, what color is it usually?

usually clear, and has no smell to it, other than maybe a more alkaline smell.

if it is brownish green it has meconium in it which is the babies first bowel movement. this could mean he is in distress(but not always)

Mine broke in a trickle early on in labor. At first it was clear, later it was pinkish (blood-tinged) and much later (24th hour of labor) it was green because of meconium and I had to have a c-section (for other reasons as well).
