Pain Relief Epidural First Time Mom

Hi, I am 39 weeks today,am due my first baby next Thursday, I am so looking forward to it. Just a question about the epidural does it give you complete pain relief, even while pushing?

Yes ! You will be numb from the waste down if it is given properly. Even through the pushing. Although you will feel the pressure of pushing like you do when you have a bowel movement but it doesnt hurt.
