Possible Detached Placenta

Hi Everyone, I am 23 weeks pregnant and fell over while walking. My knee went up into my chest. I went to the restroom later and saw blood in some mucus. I went to the ER immediately and they monitored me then let me go home, they said they didn't pick up on any contractions and the dr gave me a pelvic exam and said nothing was rupture. The bleeding has stopped but they told me to watch for contractions but I don't know what they feel like!!!!! What do labor contractions feel like and do you think they would've picked up on a detached placenta?

Did they do an ultrasound? If not I would request that one be done. Generally, the baby is pretty well padded in there and a simple trip and fall usually doesn't cause any harm. (I picked my friend up off the ground more than once because she insisted on wearing tall heels throughout her pregnancy and occasionally would lose her balance). I would still want to be completely checked out, including an ultrasound if there was any blood at all.
