Look before I start this let me say this everybody has different opinion based on personal and medical reasons so do not judge the next person just becuz they don't think like the next person! Ok i know everybody has heard of the castor oil thing so if you are in favor of it or are affraid of it just becuz it tastes bad then here is a reciepe that seems to have worked for several different people that I have had asked this from and me when I am constipated (although I'm not pregnant). You will need the following : 1st get 2 pints of your favorite ice cream 2nd get some milk 3rd ice 4th sugar 5th a blender basicly you are goin to make a shake add the ice cream and milk 4tablespoons of castor oil then add the ice to make it to the consistancy that you like and sugar to take away the oily taste! turn on the blender and vola you have ur self something that tastes like a protein shake...

Just so the girls know, I was told by my doctor at 37wks to use castor oil to try to self induce, she said that if it works I would have a baby, if it didnt I might end up with diahria so to make sure you drink plenty of fluids when you try the castor oil. Also after you take it try walking for awhile, that also helps, but dont walk to far from a bathroom just in case :) But I did ask her about the baby and any concerns I should have with taking it and she said it would not effect the baby at all just not to take too much. 1-4tbls is the max. Good luck ladies, it didnt work for me at 37wks but that is for many other reasons but I am being induced at 39wks. One other thing my doc suggested was s_x, and alot of it. lol
