Sex Positions To Speed Labor

I am 38 +1 wks. pregnant with my second and was wondering.....out of all of the people who s_x worked to start labor or speed it along, which position(s) did you use? I am 3-4 cm. dialated and 75-90% effaced (depending on which doctor I go to). I am soooo tired of this pregnancy -- I can't wait to see my little girl!

its not the position, its the s____n. Semen has a chem. balance in it that 'loosens' or preps the cervix for labor.

Beth... I just posted a message regarding the s_x working as "early labor! I think the s_x worked" I have had contractions for a long time, but the never did anything for my cervix. last night we had s_x and the only way I could be comfortable enough was laying on my side.. left side to be exact. It was still VERY uncomfortable as I have had a lot of pressure down there. Thank god it was quick ! lol (the only time you'll here me say that) Within 10 minutes my contractions became consistent and now am considered in early labor! I have read though, that you should try a position that will make the s____n pool to the cervix. Not sure what position will do this best. Doggy maybe? Not sure, but for me, there was only one way of doing it! Good luck!

Sorry had to add something funny that my sister told me... Stand on you head for a while after! lol Make sure that s____n gets to where it needs to!
