I am 41 weeks along today 1 1/2 cm dilated as of last monday. Dr said that i would probably have the baby by last tuesday because i am in the begining stages of labor. NO BABY YET. I have tried everything, Red Rasberry leaf tea for 3 weeks now, Castor oil Twice (YUCK), pineapple, nipple stimulation, hot baths(Have not had s_x in a few weeks though don't even want to think about it!!!LOL)
and nothing has happened yet. I heard that St. Johns wort, taken at the onset of labor can help to strengthen the contractions. Has anyone else heard of this or have tried it? Any other suggestions to get things moving would also be greatly appreciated. This is my third baby and the first two were induced I was hoping to go into labor at home this time. Thanks in advance

HI Jessie, I found a few new ideas on the net last week that have not worked for me but worth a try. I am 39.2 weeks. They were real BLACK LICORICE( it helps with bowel movements and is suposed to help get contractions going) I ate a whole bag .And the other was BALSAMIC VINIGAR it said to take 2nips, I took about 1/4 of a cup ( it is ment to work a bit like caster oil, but not as strong)
Good luck with it all. I have a feeling I will nead to be induced this time. I have 1 son already who came 2 weeks early, I a__sumed it would happen this time as well ....
