Hi. Went in for a post date appt. I am a few days overdue, and the doc checked me (this was the first time being checked, so not sure if I was like this for the past month already). I am 3 cm dilated and 40 % effaced, so he stripped my membranes. I know that stripping only works if your body is ready for labor, but do those conditions sound more favorable? I feel that since that happened (a couple of hours ago) I am watching the time on a clock ... like expecting things to happen but not sure what if how or when. thanks!
