Sorry if this is a repeat, I'm sure this gets asked alot here. I'm due April 19th, went to the Dr. today and he stripped my membranes. (ouch! lol) Just wondering how effective this has been for anyone in the past? I'm SO tired of being pregnant and SO ready to have my little man here!! I know it probably all depends on the pregnancy and when the baby decides to come.. it's probably been different for everyone. I guess I just need some positive reassurement. lol.

I had my membranes stripped when I was 38 weeks on March 13th and I went into labor later that night and had my little girl at 11:15 a.m. on March 14th :)...so it worked for me!!

I wish it worked that fast for me!!! I have been having more frequent BH contractions since then. And I'm pretty sure I lost my mucous plug last night. Maybe my little boy will be here soon. If I'm starting to dilate at my appt. next week, they will let me pick an induction date. Here's hoping.
Congrats on the baby girl, by the way!
