Ok, so I hope someone on this forum can kinda give me some advise.I had my baby Friday the 27th and since he came quick, I had no pain meds. But anyways, when he came out, I ripped real bad (I wish the doctor would of cut me instead of me ripping, but owell)It's now been 4 days and I am still soo sore down there, as if I just had him last night. It burns like h__l to pee and I was wondering if there was anything I could do that ppl may have done to help ease the pain.It hurts so bad I cry when I go to the bathroom.I do use the water bottle thing with warm water and spray that when I go pee, but it doesnt help much.Does anyone have any suggestions? And how long do you think I will have that burning/hurting feeling down there? Thanks!

I was told to pour water (not spray) as I pee'ed but I never needed to since I tilted right forward. I was told to maybe try the little packs that Mothercare supply or to use witch hazel. The burning I felt after having my children usually went within a week but if you are still very sore after that go and speak to your doctor as there could be an infection starting up. Congratulations on your son.

well ive had three children on my fourth now i tore real bad first time then even more the second time as i had real big babies and the speed at which i pushed them out did me no good, so i understand the pain you are in i found that putting salt in a small amount of water in my bath helped me heal quite fast i also did my wees in this water washed bath out and did it each time as i was so sore i couldnt go on the toilet also if i didnt have the chance of doing this method i leaned forward as much as i could when going the toilet so my urine did not come into contact with my sore parts, also when i gave birth each time and had my first bath in the hospital they put lavender oil in my bath which is a great healer aswell hope this has helped you some what gd luck and congrats on your newborn
