I was due on Dec 24th at yet no baby, little signs. The baby is very low in my pelvis I haven't had many contractions, pain or loss of plug yet. I'm to be induced on Jan 6th my 42wk. I'm currently dialated 1cm. How long do you think it will take for me to have my baby if it was 8:00 a.m. this Sat?

Hard to tell, everyone is different. I was induced and it took 4 hours from the time they used the gel. But i think i was going into labour, they said i was having conctractions and didnt even on it.

like wennyk said, it is really hard to say as every woman is different. You could have a fast labour or a slow one....I think generally speaking though (depending on how you are induced), labours go faster with induction...but it could still take several hours.
