Okay, this might be gross but can you describe if you know what a mucous plug look like? I've been losing chunks and strands of mucuos (think snot--gross, sorry)---no blood tinge, nothing else too extraordinary. IS THAT IT? or is it just regular pregnancy discharge?

Sounds like pieces of your mucus plug. Mine were never blood tinged, just sort of yellowish. This pregnancy I lost small bits at 34 weeks, bigger pieces at 36 weeks and thought it was gone. Just lost more a few days ago at 38.3 weeks. I understand it can replenish itself a bit. Really gross no matter how it comes out!
