Will walking help me dialate more. I am 5 days away from my due date and have only dialated 1 cm. Will walking speed up the process???

Some people say it worked for them, some say it doesn't. I am 38+4 wks. right now and I have walked so far that it just amazes me -- I have been 3cm. for at least two wks. (was measuring that at 37 week visit). Unfortunately, didn't work for me...still trying to find some way to get things moving.
