What does it feel like when your water breaks? Does it normally happen when you stand up? I guess I am wondering if I could be feeling completely no sensation from the baby and my water may break. Or does it normally coincide with the pressure I am feeling or the shooting pains down through my cervix.

when my water broke i was laying in bed and it was 4:15am I woke from a deep sleep and just sort of had the feeling that my water had broken i sat up and just thought about it for a moment and there was nothing so i stood up and as soon as i got to my feet water gushed out it sort of felt like i was weeing myself but i couldn't control it, it was the strangest feeling.

I stood up from the couch and my water broke. I seem to almost remember hearing a vauge pop, but it was too long ago. I do remember that it was a very weird feeling. I also started having contractions within minutes of cleaning up.
