no thast means that at the opening of the cervix you are opened to 1.5 cm but in the back towards the baby you are still closed so your prolly not effaced at all either x.x i had the same problem for the last 3 weeks and im over due now although it doesnt mean you wont go into labor soon it all depends on your baby and your body
