It doesn't sound like you're in labor, unless your water broke or you are having regular contractions. You might have a UTI, so you should call your dr asap.

your water doesn't necessarily have to break...or even the contractions for that matter. I just had the weirdest labor ever last week. I was having alot of pressure and irregular contractions so i went in to get checked i was only 3cms and they told me to go home ( hour away) that i wasn't in labor. But i knew i was so i stayed at my aunts which is ten mins from the hospital. They told me to come back when the contractions got stronger or my water broke. Well later in the middle of the night i was still having irregular contractions and my water didn't break but i decided to go back hoping i was a little farther and they would give me something to help me sleep through the contractions because i hadn't really slept in 2 nights. My contractions were ranging from 4-11 mins apart and when i got there they didn't think i was really in labor. But when they checked me i was 8 cms. They had to break my water and shortly later i was pushing him out. If i wouldve listened to the docs and went home and waited for my contractions to become regular and my water to break i would've had him in the car on the trip there or maybe just at home. I only went in then because i wasn't too far from the hospital.

hi ladies i was still in alot of pain so i ended up going to the hospital they hooked me up to the monitor come to find out i was contracting every 5 mins they took my urine as well thank god no infection i had 2 shots of brethaine and 2 liters of iv she cheked me internal and said i was 100%efaced but not dialated 4 hours later they send me home 2 hrs later i started contracting again and still am but i think i am going to wait till tommorow for my appt thank u
