Yes but dont drink it. Instead have a nice cup of raspberry tea it tastes better. Only after 35 weeks though. And if you do decide to take caster oil only one spoonfull. Dont drink the whole bottle.

I am due tomorrow with my second baby. I tried castor oil yesterday. 3 Tbls. or 45ml at 4 pm and I got very strong braxton hicks contractions into the night. (I say braxton hicks because if they were real I would have had a baby. They were very strong though.) I haven't had to go to the bathroom yet. I just felt nauseous at 9 pm for an hour or so last night. I am always late I had my first baby at 42/4 and they had to break my water to get that started. You shouldn't try to start labor unless you are term because there is a margin of error on due dates. That is why they are estimated due dates. Just a word of caution, you wouldn't want to have your baby premature.
