Babies Movement Before Labor

my mother in law and every one told me baby doesn't move before you go in to labor. I*s that right?

True. Im 36 weeks and the baby has stopped moving as much but thats due to the lack of space thathe can move in. Hes engaged so he cant move anywhere now,

It depends on the position your baby is in. I remember my daughter squirming around while I was in labor, but she was still pretty high.
