I am 37 weeks, 2 centimeters, 70%. I have been having non painful contractions, doc said the babies head is down. I have been starting to see very little bloody show. I was hoping this meant something is going to happen soon. any advice????

You can have some blood after an exam but bloody show usually means you'll go into labor within 48 hours

ma'am, you should be ready anytime and be sure that somebody is with you always because bloody show is a sign of true labor..i think it means that your due date is nearing...u can do it!!!!!!

I don't know. I am having the same thing. My doc says I'm 37 weeks - I say I am between 38 and 39. I am also having bloody show and am hoping this means something. According to the nurse pract_tioner I saw today I am not dilated any but "very soft." My due date has been changed four times according to ultrasound measurements, but I told him all along that my original May 29 date is the most accurate.

I am also 37 weeks and having show, I was told that I am dilated to a 3 and was also told that I was in the early stages of labor, you probably are to.
