3 rd pregnancy but my had not broke on its own so I am not too sure what to expect. I often urinate when I cough, sneeze or laugh but never out of the blue. It is not alot just dripping a bit sporadically. I did have s_x about 5 hours ago or so,I have no contractions at the moment but have been experienceing braxton/hicks last few days. I am dur 5/31 for a c-section at 39 weeks. Can anyone please give me advivce lthank you!!

Have you had your "bloody show"? Has the dripping been constant? if you have had your bloody show, and the dripping is contantly happening (like over a period of hours, not all at once) and the "braxtons" are getting stronger, then I would say yes. I just had my baby a little over 32 hours ago. When my water broke at first it leaked out and felt like I was peeing myself, but when I stood up and moved my hips to walk it brust. Some women have their water break the way you describe it and others the way I did. But really to be sure take a quick drive to the hospital and ask them to check. If they tell you it didn't, ask them for an amniotic tester (it looks like a q-tip) so you can check if it happens at home. I am a first time mother, but I hope this info helps as I recall very well what it was like to not know something.
