I am 36 weeks along and have had a great pregnancy so far. A little earlier today while using the rest room I noticed a smell that caught my attention. I looked down and saw a thick stream of what looked like seman coming out of my va___a. It had no strange color to it but it is definatly something that I have never experienced before. Any Idea as to what this is? My Husband and I made love last night and shortly after I had a lot of braxton-hicks contractions.. could the contractions have to do with it? Maybe it is still seman that was unable to come out due to the contractions? If so, why was it so much thicker than usual? Does it mean this baby might be coming sooner than expected?

the braxton hicks are caused from the sperm from your husband. sperm has a hormone in it similar to the one given to women in labor who get "stuck" at a certain stage. the discharge and smell of it is just the "dead" sperm coming back out with your mucous plug in the way the little swimmers have no where to go but out and sometimes it doesn't happen as soon as s_x is over. no worries and good luck!
