Someone, please answer right away! I am 38 wks, 4 days preggo with my second son, and I have been having regular contractions(I think) all morning. They are about 45 mins apart so far, I'm feeling them in my lower belly, and my lower back hurts. I know you're thinking, "this is her second child, she should know what labor feels like!" I don't! I was induced with my first son, and I went from absolutely nothing to the main event in about 2 hours. I have no idea what the beginning of labor feels like. I don't want to pester the doctor if its just BH(never had those in my first preg. either) but I really don't want to have my son at home either! Help!

Hi, From what I have learned, you should wait until the contractions are 5 minutes apart for at least an hour. Try drinking two big gla__ses of water and walking around when you think you are experiencing the real thing. If you are, the contractions will get worse and won't go away. Good luck!

Hi, I am also preg. with my 2nd son, drink alot of water, just keep drinking and go for a walk then lay down on your left side, wait to see if the pain gets closer together, usually the doc will only want to see you if you are having more than 4 an hour. Hope this helps. keep us informed, cuz if they are regular and they start to get closer together and stronger then it sounds like you might be having a baby very soon. good luck!

if your contractions are 45 minutes apart there is along time before your second born would make its arrival into the world.. just keep timing and when you get closer like even 10 minutes apart go in... or call the doctor. being 38 weeks your baby could come at any time... i am 40 weeks + with my first and getting induced tomorrow..how did you get induced with your first that it worked so quickly..
