Anyone have experience with hypnobirthing? How did it help you?

Hi, I hypnobirthed my baby girl, she's 7 months now. I definately don't regret doing it, it really helped me a lot. Although I was not able to go fully into hypnosis during the birthing experience and I was not able to eliminate the pain like some people are able to do, it really helped me to relax and to get by without pain meds. I was induced at 37 weeks along, because of medical issues, using pitocin and breaking my water. Birthing my baby was a wonderful and emmpowering experience, but it was painful. For the most part I layed on my left side in bed and just relaxed. I didn't cry or yell or even break a sweat. I asked for pain meds but by that time I was in transition so it was too late. I had a fast and easy labor (3 hrs and 45 minutes of contractions and 20 minutes of pushing) and I really think that I progressed so quickly because I wasn't tense. If you'd like to know anything about the program I used just ask :o)
