i`m 41 weeks today and i just had my membranes sweep this morning 11 o`clock,and since then i been having like period pain in irregular times,now is 4.30 ,is this early labour?anh how much you may bleed after asweep?

My doc stripped my membranes twice, right before 40 weeks and right before 41 weeks. The first time I lost my mucus plug and had some contractions, but it didn't progress into anything. The second time, I had contractions all night and had my bloody show.... and my son was born two days later. I bled for about 24 hours, had contractions 10 minutes apart for the last few hours, and went into the hospital to be checked because I wasn't sure how long I could bleed and it would be okay. I thought for sure they were going to send me home, turned out I was about 4 cm dilated and there you go. lol My bleeding was like a very light period. Keep track of your pains, take a long walk (that's what I did) and be sure you get as much rest as you can, 'cause this might just be it. Good luck!

thank you spamanda ,i been controling the time every time ,still i bit irregular ,but geting closer to each other,and headache,i just hope i dont have to wait much longer.
