Are a bloody show and losing your mucous plug the same thing or two separate things? Does anyone know what the difference is? I believe I had a bloody show today, can this happen without losing your mucous plug yet. What is happening?

your mucous plug does not neccessarily have to be bloody or pink-tinged. mine was actually greenish. sorry not trying to gross anyone out
