hey girls...im 35 weeks and for the past couple of days i have been having pains really down low...sharp almost burning pains but very quick..they only last a few seconds or so...the last couple of times the pains have been more intense and a few seconds longer...is this the baby resting on my cervix or could it be early signs of labor? i have also been having to poop all day when i have been sooo constipated for the past few months. i dont want to seem paranoid but i just really am curious to know if anyone else has these pains and if they are normal at 35 weeks? thanks guys....

I don't know if they are normal or not but I have been having sharp pains down low as well, as well as period like cramping that is so bad I have to concentrate on breathing. I also have to poop all the time! 3-4 times a day! I was never constipated before, but was pretty regular. Now I'm all over the place. I'm 34 weeks...I'm asking the dr tomorrow when I go for my appt.

If the baby has moved it's head down in the pelvic area it causes pressure and pain and bowel issues. If you're not having actually contractions that continue to get stronger, you're probably ok. Of course it's always good to let your Dr. know what's going on. It hurts me to walk right now! I found that if I can lie down for a while it helps a little. But not always. Hang in there, we're almost there!
