Ripen Cervix For Induction

Hi everyone, I'm 36 weeks pregnant and due to health issues my doctor has decided to induce me at 38 weeks if my cervix is favorable. I'm not looking to bring on labor right now, but I am looking for things to do to ripen my cervix over the next couple of weeks so that my doctor will induce. So if anybody knows ways to soften, efface, and dialate the cervix to help with induction, please let me know! :o)
