I am 37 weeks pregnant, and dont get me wrong I am already tired of being pregnant, but as far as the castor oil, the tea, and anything else I dont do on routine, (making love to my husband, walking and hour a day, swimming all the time, and putting on my nipple cream after I get out of the shower) I will not try anything else. Hey do you liked to be rushed? ha ha, jk.

I tried raspberry leaf tea for 3 days straight, drinking it 3-4 times a day and nothing happened. Just wait it out and your baby will arrive when he/she is ready

im 38+1 n tried a full bottle of castor oil. It didnt work as it put me into faulse labour. I have tried everything. Im drinking rasbury tea as a last resort and no signs yet. Im the most active person i no and worked till i was 8 month so it just shows that these things dont work for everyone. Good luck everyone i no how frustrating it can be when all you want to do is have your baby

still pregnant here...39+3days. I had my cervix stripped fot the second time today. had it done last week and all I did was bleed like a stuck hog. Hopefully I'll have some luck with todays, doc said he felt her head this time so hopefully that is a plus. I have tried everything imaginable to get this going but nothing has happened but me getting more and more frustrated. To make things worse the Army won't induce you until you are over 41 weeks...so keep your fingers crossed for me and I will for you!!! God bless!!!

Well it looks like you have gotten plenty of advise on this. I am due on the 16th. I have tried many of these suggestions as well..no luck! I am beginning to think that she will never come. I suppose after waiting this long a couple of days or wks. won't kill me...but if anyone has ANY other suggestions please leave feedback...MORE THAN READY & TIRED OF WAITING.

When I was 38 weeks pregnant with my daughter, my dr told my husband and I to try a___l s_x. Sounds gross, didn't try it and our little girl ended up being 2 days late and having to be induced. Does anyone know if a___l s_x actually works? Don't know if I would want to try it even if it does. I am 38 weeks pregnant with our second child now and really tired of being pregnant. The dr said it is supposed to help prematurely rupture the membranes.....Does anyone know if this is true???

I am due in 12 days. i have tried everything to try to bring on labour but no luck. i have resigned myself to thinking that he will come when he is ready. i know exactly how you feel. all i can say is be patient.

My sister says her OB recomended an dietary supplement called Evening Primrose Oil Capsuls. 500mg 2x a day to help thin out the cervix. She also says you are not supposed to drink the castor oil just rub it on your stomach before you go to bed at night. May not start labor, but starts contractions. Drinking it can cause the baby to have a bm in utero which can hurt him/her. I am 38 weeks preg, and had an ultrasound yesterday and the doctors are saying that our boy is already almost 9lbs. I am SO ready to have him now. Going to try to go walk tonight. Who knows? Wish you all luck!
