Still Dialated At 4 And 50 Percent

well im 37 weeks this is my third child and i was dialated at 3 for a week now i am dialated at 4 and 50 percent effaced. i have false lanour every once in awhile but no reall contractions. soctor says i can go another 3 weeks. can someone really stay dialated at 4 for that long?

I am realy starting to wonder. This is crazy. I am in the same boat. So many people say that the more kids you have the easier and faster it goes. (yeah right)
Mine seems to keep getting harder. best wishes to you. Maybe once labor realy gets going it will be easier because we are almost half way there.

I was 3cm at 37 weeks and then 4 cm at 38 weeks and still went almost one week later. Of course labor was nice and fast because I'd made it that far to start. It's so frustrating when you feel like your so close and then nothing. I was 2cm and 50% at 36 weeks this time and the same at 37 weeks. I'll know in a couple of days at my next appt. if I managed to make a little progress this time. Of course even if I did, I guess it really doesn't mean anything as far as when labor will start. Hang in there ladies. We will be having our babies soon (sooner the better!)
