Well with my second baby I had it done and the first time it didn't work and the second time it did. I just had it done today too at my appt but I was only 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced. I'll let you know if it works! Good luck. ***Labor vibes***

Yep...this was my second pregnancy and at 38 weeks the doctor stripped my membranes and I went into labor later that night and had my girl the next day....I was a good 3cm and 80% effaced when he did it....good luck!! Walk around alot also, that will help to get things going after they do that.

When I was preg last time the doc stripped mine on a wednesday and I went into labor on friday. He was 3 days early. Good luck!

I had mine stripped on Thursday for the first time. Nothing yet but I lost my plug and was having some contractions last night that obviously amounted to nothing.

I had mine stripped Friday. It's now Sunday and nothing has happened. I am already 4cm, 80%, and 0 station.

When mine were stripped I went into false labor the next night. I went to the hospital and everything. The contractions were timed and I tell you I thought for sure I was in labor. But he did not come until about 1.5 weeks later. Good luck it may work like a charm for you!

I had mine stripped today too, for the second time this pregnancy. This is my third pregnancy and he is being difficult! I am at 3cm and 80% effaced. The first time they did it a week and a half ago I was 1cm and 50%. I've been having some pretty intense contractions today though since it happened. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath! I have a scheduled induction date for end of the week, so at least I see a light at the end of the tunnel now.

didn't work for me, this time or my last PG. Had it done last Wednesday and here it is Monday and nothing. Not even a tremor. =( I'm 100% effaced and 3 cms. Hurt like HELL.
