has anyone had a ureathral tear as a result of delivery? i had never heard of it. i was looking at my hospital discharge papers and it said 20 st_tches - urethral tear/perineal tear. anyone else?

i did have one of these. I am not sure of the # of st_tches, and I didn't even know it happened in delivery. He was just going to do an episiotomy but....................Everything healed up good!

I had this happen with both of my deliveries. One required 12 st_tches the other req. 14 st_tches. I did not feel the tear either. But I sure felt Dr. putting st_tches in the 1st time he did not numb me up good enough.
