What To Take To Help Progress

i am 36 weeks with 2nd child, 4cm 90% and +1 station. in preturm labor at 27weeks. i was the same with my first child. my doc set up induction this past monday,but when got their nurse refused to give med. hospital protocal is 38weeks even with my past history. i almost did not make it to the hospital with my first child and it was only 10mnt away. my hospital now is 45mnts. i have tried s_x both times, it worked with my first but nothing yet with this one. need help! will castro oil help for me. o yea i am having contractions every 3-6 mnts for weeks but cannot seem to progress in cm. i would love some help.

I wouldnt take the castor oil thats for sure. All it will do is make you have really bad cramps and the poops. It may make contractions come on, but it will be horrible in the process of. I would suggest s_x at least once a day, and walking. Lots and lots of walking. You are pretty thinned out already, and most of the other "home remedies" are just to help thin the cervix. Not actually dialate. Why did your dr not tell the nurses what was going on? Like if your dr says that it is medically necessary, than that's his call..not the nurses. I see how you are frightened being that when it does happen...it will probably go fast.

the doctor tried but it was hospital protocal. i guess they felt i was not in to much danger. The baby always looks good.I am set up for the 28th now.I will be just over 37, but ultrasound shows almost 39.
I have been walking just looked at this.
