Will My Labour Start Soon

I am 39 weeks + 4 days now and have tried just about everythin to try and start my labour off such as s_x,rasperry leaf tea,fresh pinaple,nipple stimulation,hot curry,finally yesterday was a nice day so i went for a walk and when i came home i went to the toilet and i had a "show" . i had a few pains last night down below, almost felt like i could feel my cervix opening and had the odd tightening around my belly but there is still no sign of baby. I am booked into have a membrane sweep tomorow morning do you think this will help start me off?

It worked for me. I went into labor the next day after she sweeped my membranes!

I just got back from having my membrane sweep. midwife says its a good sign ... the neck of the womb is well opened and she says she will be surprised if i dont have him by the weekend so fingers crossed!! :)
