18 With Twins On The Way

This girl I know is 18 years old and she's having twin babies without the father. She also smokes. I was wondering what the risks are for a girl of her age to have multiples on top of the tabacco adiction? Even though I'm not the father, I care for her dearly. Is there anything I can do to help her?

Oh dear chaos. As if tobacco wasn't enough of a problem. Okay, twins is a sure-fire way to wind up with premature birth. Now smoking when you're pregnant is hard enough on a sing baby, but it will be a whole lot worse for two babies, who will most likely be premature. 1) Support her! Support is always something expecting mothers need, whether or not they are happy with the pregnancy. 2) Get her away from those dynamites-for-lungs. She has the right to do what she wants with her body, but by smoking, she is now putting the health, possibly the lives, of two innocent lives at risk. It's good to see that you care so much for her. Good men are hard to find nowadays. My best wishes to you, the mother, and the children.
