5 6weeks Pregnant And No Gestation Sac

Hi, I have been told that I am 5-6weeks pregnant.My last period was 29th Sept 2004. I have had a previous ectopic in Feb 2004. I went for my scan today and they could not see a gestation sac, they gave me a beta hcg test and the results were 1330. Has anyone been in this situation before good or bad.

I too went for an ultra sound and I am showing no sac. I am not sure. I was advise to return in a week.

I think it is early to know, so many variables at 5 weeks hang in there

Thanks Nicole for your reply. I went today for my scan and a sac has appeared, they think I am about 4-5weeks now. I have been asked to return next week. Good luck with your scan I am sure everything will be fine

Thanks Charlotte for your sound advise, I went for my scan and a sac has now appeared. You where right it must have been to early. I am about 4-5weeks now and will have to return for one more scan next week. Thanks again.

Hi...I am also 5-6 weeks (thought I was more like 7 weeks but after ultrasound they said I was not as far along) They did an ultrasound on thursday and saw no gestational sac...then did another one the next day to make sure it wasn't ectopic and DID see a gestational sac (one day difference!) The only thing I am worried about is my hcg beta levels didn't quite double. Went from7800 on monday to 14,400 on Thursday. Also my b___sts aren't as sore as they were in the beginning weeks and I am terrified I might lose this baby. I had a MC in February. I hope we are both ok! Anyone else have any thoughts on our dilemmas??
