hi people, i am in the same boat, i am about 7 weeks pregnant and went for a internal US and found i was pregnant but no yolk sac or fetal pole, my hcg levels were 20000 which were normal for my time but i am worried sick why there was nothing in the sac? i am due for a second US on the 13th April, so will update then could i be wrong in my timing or is something wrong with my pregnancy ??? any help will be greatful.

I am posting on this forum after such a long time .I was 5 weeks pregnant when the doctor told me that I do have an empty sac and there is nothing in the sac .He prescribed me the medicine to pa__s it out but I told him that i want to wait and want to keep hope. Doctor said that he is pretty sure however if i want to wait i can wait for one more week .Instead of going back after 1 week i waited 2 weeks and then went back and guess what ? they found the lil baby with the heart beat .Now I am 8 months pregnant .feels baby kicking and his hiccupps too .I had 2 misscarraiges before this pregnancy and every time they said its empty sac but every time i chose not to ate the medicine .Keeps your hopes high and best will come to you :)

H_gina, Im so happy for you and thank you for the update. My son who was almost lost through a dnc because of an empty sac is turning 1 next month. It does not always work out this way but if I had not waited I would have never known.

hi,i hv done my urine test at home several times, it has shown 2 lines all the time...but when i did my usg examination(pelvis-tvs) there was no e/o intra or extra uterine gestation.the endometrial echo is 10mm thick and is in the midline......the radlogst cd nt see the baby....so how is hcg in my urine...pls explan.....my last period date was 12th april.....

I'm going through the same as we speak hun. I'm currently 7 weeks and 2 days but my hcg levels are rising too. Still sick and b___bs are very sore not to mention the amount of times a day I have to pee!! Lol hun don't give up hope im in the same boat as you. Everything will turn out fine if you have the feeling your baby is there stick with your instincts as the saying goes mum knows best :-D have faith and never give up :-D.

Hi all sorry to bother u I should be 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant but I've had bleeding no pain just blood at had a scan yesterday and it just shown an empty sac no baby I have to go back in 2 weeks I'm not sure y because they said I misscarryed. I've had a misscarry before and I found it painfull and lots of things c_m out of me but this 1s just red blood what do u think it could b I have been bleeding for 7 days it is like a period x

Hello, this is my fourth pregnancy. All three were easy, healthy preg. I am now 6 weeks and had a u/s today with empty sac. No yolk sac, no baby. The doctor was not that optomistic. I am so incredibly sad, but this forum gives me just a bit of hope!!! Thank you all for taking the time to write and post!!!! I have been a mess all day. Really nice to know it's happend to others:)

I am in the same boat ladies, I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant, I had my first u/s yesterday and they saw the gestational sac but no baby. I go back in 10 days for another u/s. I am so sad this has been 4 years of trying, the second round of clomid and thousands of prayers. I'm so scared.

Can anybody give me any advice. I am 11 weeks 4 days. 3 days ago i had 2 bits of slight bleeding went for u/s next day and they could find sack but no baby. was told i need to go back in 7 days for another u/s. i have had all symptons apart from sickess but have felt boaky often. This is my first pregnancy. If next u/s comes back same can u leave it longer or get other opinion from anybody? i have had no further bleeding but a few light cramps

This is the second time that this happens to me- Yesterday, I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks 1 day and the sac was empty. I am having a D&C next week. I am very sad. This is my 3 miscarriage with IVF + an ectopic pregnancy. Things happens for a reason. I wish I would know why but there is nothing we can do. One day we will be able to carry a full term pregnancy

This is something I had to read for myself. I had a doctors appointment today and was told my 8 week sac was empty. And scheduled me for lab work next week. God willing I receive good news next week. Thank you so much. I'm expecting the worse but hoping for the best

Yes. 13 years ago when I was 9 weeks pregnant my doc told me the amniotic fluid sac was very large and empty but did hormone level to confirm. The hormon levels rose and I had a very large healthy ful-term baby boy.

Yes me I was 10 weeks doctors scedualed a dnc but I didn't go and at 11 weeks we saw our baby. He's 3 years old now. I wish you luck... Btw I have a tilted uterus and read that could be the reason babys can hide
