Bleeding -pg112432975018

Hello. This is a bit strange! I'm seventeen years old, and about two and a half months (I think!) pregnant. I haven't been to see a physician, because I'm too frightened to tell my parents about my baby. Now, as I'm nearing (or maybe entering?) my third month, I bled this morning. I've read up a bit on the subject of bleeding during the first trimester, but the blood wasn't colored pink or dark brown (as I'm told is normal?), I don't think. But the bleeding has stopped, after that one brief episode. I'm scared! Am I miscarrying? Maybe two or three times since I've been pregnant, have I had slight pains in my abdomen. Nothing terrible, though -- it's been very, very slight pains (much less severe than a monthly period cramp). Possibly not even related to my pregnancy? I'm not certain of anything. :-/ Also, will a pregnancy test be able to detect a dead fetus and read negative, as a result? Should I go to Planned Parenthood? Would they be able to tell me? Any advice is helpful. Thank you!

Ashley- Go see a doctor as soon as possible. You may not had a m/c. There are lots of women who bleed in their first trimester. I have had bleeding in my first trimester and I'm being monitored every two weeks by my doctor with a subchrionic bleed. Please tell you mom and go see a doctor. Your mom will find out sooner or later, tell her now and get it over with. Let me know how you made out and I'll be praying for you.
