Bleeding During 7th Week Now For 6 Days

I started bleeding when I was 7weeks 5 days. It was just a hint of red at first when I wiped. It has went from that to brown, to wearing a pad and bright red. Six days later....I'm still bleeding bright red and have had a few small clots. I've had 4 va___al sonograms and all show completley normal pregnancy and heartbeat!!! My doctor says it could stop and continue with normal pregnancy but could also be a miscarriage on its way! Has anybody had a similar experience?
